Lonehill is a suburb where residents have been extremely active in taking charge of their own environmental and security concerns. A dedicated security control room based in Lonehill, four reaction vehicles, two motorbikes, and patrolmen on foot form an integrated network of over 70 radio-linked guards available at any one time in the community. The effects of this security initiative bode well for property prices and investment value in the area and house prices have increased steadily since its rollout.
With the donations received from residents the Lonehill Ratepayers Association ensure that the entire suburb runs smoothly and trouble free and the Estate Manager and his team ensure that the suburb is kept in pristine condition at all times.
